An Edinburgh-born entertainer has sought to inspire others across the country to follow their dreams no matter what the obstacles, as he details how he went from scanning items at the checkout in Leith to commandeering stages in Las Vegas.
Frankie Mack, 29, didn't see himself "fitting in" anywhere in life growing up, and he often envisioned his future ending with a snooker cue in hand as a professional player, or seeing out the rest of his days in Tesco. But the former holiday rep couldn't have imagined people playing at the snooker tables would be the ones actually looking up at him on stage one day, as he has carved a successful career, which is steadily growing, in just four years.Speaking exclusively to the Daily Record, Frankie revealed how the likes of Michael Buble, Robbie Williams and Elvis played a huge part in shaping his showmanship - so much that Mr Buble himself has said he could steal his own show with his vocals.
Frankie said: "I'd rather inspire a million people than sell a million records and that's genuine. It started off slowly I was a holiday rep and then I was an entertainer.
Even looking back at videos now I was absolutely horrendous at the start, I don't understand how I have got here, it's crazy.""I started this four years ago and look where I am now.
