Prince Harry briefly met with his father, King Charles, on Tuesday, following the monarch’s shock cancer diagnosis. Harry is said to have been personally informed of his father's health condition by the King himself, and jumped on a plane from the US, where he lives with wife Meghan Markle , just hours after receiving the news.
Harry has made the trip to the UK alone, with Meghan remaining in Montecito with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.The Duke of Sussex flew 5,440 miles from LAX to London’s Heathrow airport, landing in the capital on Tuesday at lunchtime.
After his 10-and-a-half-hour flight, Harry made his way to Clarence House to see his father.Two black SUVs left Heathrow Airport’s VIP Windsor Suite before being pictured arriving at the royal residence at around 2.42pm.
He was whisked to London while Charles, 75, delayed a helicopter flight to Sandringham so they could hold their first meeting in 16 months.
