Martin Clunes, 59, returns to our television screens this week in ITV series Manhunt: The Night Stalker.The series, based on the true story of the police investigation into a notorious serial burglar and rapist, stars Clunes as Police Detective Chief Inspector Colin Sutton.He previously starred as DCI Colin Sutton in the prequel series, Manhunt, which drew an average of 9million viewers and was the highest rated new drama on any channel in 2019.Clunes' drew praise for his portrayal of DCI Colin Sutton, and will reprise the role in the sequel Manhunt: The Night Stalker, which begins on ITV on Monday, September 20 2021.The actor has had a long and varied career, best known for roles in programmes such as Doc Martin and in the comedy Men.
