It's been regularly spoken recently that Prince William and Kate Middleton will move closer to the Queen.The married couple and their children currently split their time between Kensington Palace and their weekend home in Amner Hall in Norfolk.

But, it has now been reported that the royal couple are eyeing up a move to Windsor as they see it as "the perfect place" to raise their brood.The residence the couple appear to have cast their eyes on is Adelaide Cottage, a residence built in 1831.

"There are issues with all the other houses, so Adelaide will be the favourite." And it's certainly a beautiful place to call home, nestled in Home Park in Windsor.

The sweet property is owned by the Queen, but it can be leased for free, or for low rent. It's named after Princess Adelaide of Saxe-Meiningen, the wife of King William IV, and it was previously occupied by Group Captain Peter Townsend.
