After first being awarded a Damehood in The Queen’s official New Year Honours list earlier this year, Dame Laura, 30, officially received her medal from Prince William today.
Laura’s husband, Sir Jason Kenny, 34, was also honoured in the list with a Knighthood.The pair, who are GB Team cyclists, are the most successful married couple in Olympics history, and both took home gold medals in the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics which took place in 2021.
