A man has been left fighting for his life following a 'targeted attack' in north Manchester. Greater Manchester Police says the 34-year-old was rushed to hospital last night (September 11) with serious injuries consistent with the use of a bladed article.
It followed reports of a disturbance involving a group of five males on Windsor Road, in Harpurhey, at around 6.15pm. GMP has launched an investigation into the attack, which officers believe to be targeted.
Images from the scene, taken last night, show a forensic tent in place outside a property on the street. Part of Windsor Road was taped off by police, while markers were placed in the road as forensics officers gathered evidence.
