A man who rents an apartment in Manchester city centre has been left in despair after claims water gushes through his ceiling every time it rains.
The tenant, who has asked to remain anonymous, pays £1,200 a month for the two-bedroom flat at Vulcan Mill in New Islington, but claims the building has been plagued with issues.
He claims he and other resident's have experienced several leaks in their apartments, but the problem has got worse due to the heavy rain and storms which have wreaked havoc on the region over the past few weeks. Communal hallways also appeared to have been flooded, with rain even seen gushing through the light fittings. Gutters on the exterior brick of the apartment block also appear to be overflowing.
