He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

Phillip Schofield replied to Josie’s tweet earlier today, where the star poked fun at Gino D’Acampo after the chef lost his temper when she dared to ask if he used granules in his gravy.

In response to the tweet, the This Morning host assured Josie that he was “with her all the way”. On This Morning today, the chef was walking the stars through “Gino’s sausage in a hole”, which involved making his own gravy.

However, when Josie, who stepped in to replace Holly Willoughby on the show due to illness, innocently asked if the chef “used any granules”, he became rather irritated.

As Gino was carrying out his demonstration, Josie queried: “You don’t use any granules at all?”“What? What’s a granule” Gino replied irritably, prompting Phillip to.
