But, according to an expert, things might be not plain sailing when it comes to the business side of things as the pair own radio broadcasting company, Holmes & Away.

A spokesperson for the former This Morning hosts, both 64, gave a statement on their split on Saturday 25 May, which stated: "Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing." However, despite their determination to remain friends, a legal expert has claimed that if Ruth and Eamonn were to part ways when it comes to business, it could get 'complicated'.

Harry Gates, barrister at 4PB and co-founder of The Divorce Surgery, said: "Ruth and Eamonn own a business together, which could complicate things further.
