Amanda Owen has spilled her secret to keeping food costs down with nine children.The shepherdess said she is a fan of the marked down section in supermarkets and will make meals out of what she can to avoid waste and save money.The 48-year-old revealed she spends "at least £150" on her weekly shop at supermarkets "30 miles away" from their farm.She spilled: "I'm a devil for the marked down section."A few years ago I spent £1,000 on a cow so we don't have to buy milk, and our meat is from the farm."My mantra is, look at what you've got and make something out of it.
