I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! star Maura Higgins has finally confirmed her romance with Pete Wicks in a new interview, with the TV personality telling This Morning's Alison Hammond that she can be one of their "bridesmaids".The former Love Island contestant, who was rumoured to be dating Pete ahead of her jungle stint, spoke about the TOWIE star while on I 'm A Celeb and admitted that she missed him.

Appearing on This Morning via video link after being evicted from the jungle, Maura opened up about their romance further when pressed by host Alison.The TV presenter said: "I'm very excited about you meeting up with Pete when you come back - we all know it's Pete, don't even go there and say it isn't Pete!

We all know it's Pete and he loves you, you love him. "What's going to happen when you come back? We're so excited about this," she added.

Maura sheepishly replied: "Oh God. It didn't take you long to ask that question, Alison, did it? Do you know what? You do forget about the cameras and I do like to keep things private but let's be real, I said it. "I can't remember saying it but I said the words, 'I miss him.' I do miss him - like I missed all my friends and family," she laughed. "He's been so supportive." Alison the interjected with a rather cheeky question: "Can I be a bridesmaid?" To which Maura responded: "You can be a bridesmaid Alison, for God's sake." Maura added: "Honestly, I didn't know if he was still in Strictly, I'm so proud of him.
