Weekends are for magical, wholesome outdoor adventures, and nobody does magical, wholesome outdoor adventure quite like BeWILDerwood, a sprawling, whimsical woodland attraction based on the children's books of the same name by author Tom Blofeld.
Along with my children Theo, aged three, Nina, aged one and my childhood best friend Robyn, I was invited to BeWILDerwood Cheshire ahead of the summer holidays to explore the countless delightful activities the delightfully wonky woodland has to offer, and what a gorgeous day we had.
As a busy single mum, screen time can be a lifesaver - as much as I hate to admit it. Sometimes, when there's a dinner to cook, a washing machine to unload, little fingerprints to clean off surfaces, sticking the telly on is the perfect way to keep the little ones entertained.
That said, I like to keep screen time to a minimum, and I'm passionate about getting my children away from technology and out into the great outdoors as often as possible.
