Huge TOWIE star quits show after five years saying ‘it’s time'

TOWIE star Chloe Brockett has announced she’s quit the reality show after five years. The star, 23, revealed the shocking news to her devastated fans via her Instagram stories on Monday 26 February.

Chloe took to social media to share her news, where she wrote: "I have made the decision to take a step back from towie, it's been in my life since I was 18 and I feel like it's best for me at this point in my life to step away. "I'm forever grateful to Towie for giving me the platform they have." She finished her post with: "Love you all".

Chloe joined the ITVBe show, The Only Way is Essex, in 2019 along with her mum, Clare who left the show in 2022. It had been reported previously that Chloe had been suspended from the last series of TOWIE following a row with her reality TV co-star Roman Hackett.The rumours then began that Chloe would not feature in the rest of the series which aired last September.

However, during a chat with OK! on the Television Awards red carpet, Chloe revealed she would be back on the show. At the time, Chloe said: "I'm still a cast member, I've been on the show for four years, so yes, I will be there. "I missed five days of filming, everyone made out like I was missing the rest of the series but I am in it, so don't worry." At the time, Chloe was said to have thrown a drink at her co-star with a source telling The Sun: "Chloe and Roman’s row escalated so quickly no one saw it coming.They were arguing then Chloe threw a drink on Roman.
