The family of a mum who has vanished say they are 'all so worried' as a huge search operation continues. Yvonne Backhouse, 73, was reported missing on Saturday after a carer who attended her home in the High Peak found she wasn't in as expected, and informed her family.
A neighbour has said they saw her at her home in the village of Tintwistle, where she was born and raised, on Friday evening.
However, that is when Derbyshire Police say there was the last confirmed sighting. In an urgent appeal issued on Saturday, the force said they were 'extremely concerned for her welfare.' Police officers, family members as well as friends and helpers have spent the last 24 hours frantically searching for the mum-of-three, with efforts continuing today.
