Huge 8,000-person nudist festival will still go ahead this month despite Covid fears
dailystar.co.ukcoronavirus.Since 2016, on the first weekend of February, Zipolite on the southern coast of Mexico has hosted Festival Nudista Zipolite, organised by the Federación Nudista de México.Located in the coastal region of the state of Oaxaca, Zipolite, which means "Beach of the Dead", the beach is Mexico's first and only legal nude beach.This year's festival is scheduled to take place from January 29 to February 1, despite the fact that Mexico has so far registered more than 1.48m coronavirus cases and over 130k Covid-related deaths.
