Anti HS2 campaigners climbed an office building next to Euston station this morning to continue their protest. Dozens of police surrounded the Oneversholtst building as the protesters unveiled a banner proclaiming: “Essential work should heal not harm” Wearing orange boiler suits and white construction helmets they avoided the authorities to climb onto the lobby roof of the building.
Police sealed off the area with tape. The protesters shouted their opposition to HS2 through a loud hailer. They were just 30 yards from the main protest site where Swampy, son Rory, 16 and seven others remained underground.
