Two days afters surviving an assassination attempt, Donald Trump officially became the GOP nominee at the Republican National Convention on Monday morning.
The four-day convention kicked off on July 15 at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where 2,400 delegates from across the country nominated the former president for the 2024 election.
Of course the vote, which took place by roll call during the convention, is a formality given that Trump was already given the necessary 1,215 delegates needed to cinch the nomination in March.
