Dropkick Murphys won't be pitching in Boston's Red Sox Fenway Park Friday night (May 29), but the Celtic punk band will host the first-ever concert on the infield diamond with no fans in attendance.
Bruce Springsteen will virtually accompany the band for a Double Play during the performance that's dubbed Streaming Outta Fenway, beginning at 6 p.m.
ET tomorrow. The two-hour show will raise funds for the Boston Resiliency Fund, Habitat For Humanity and Feeding America. "It beats playing at home," Dropkick Murphys' lead singer and bassist Ken Casey exclusively told Billboard earlier this month. "I didn't really enjoy watching people play on their couches.
