With this year being the home of the Euros, Olympics, and Paralympics, there's been no shortage in sporting entertainment, especially as we witnessed the England men's team compete in the Euros 2024 final against Spain.
The BBC Sports Personality of the Year will take place in MediaCityUK, Salford, the home of BBC Sport on Tuesday 17th December.
Discussing the sporting achievements of 2024, co-presenter Gabby Logan said: "The last 12 months have been huge for sport. We were treated to the biggest and most prestigious sporting competition on the planet, the Olympics", before adding that athletes from "sports that don't always get the recognition they deserve" were put on "centre stage".
