How salary scheme could mean Scottish Premiership players will not be allowed to TRAIN at home

A Scottish Premiership club has suggested that top-flight managers will be banned from allowing their players to train at home if their club attempts to claim on the government's coronavirus salary furlough scheme.

Prime minister Boris Johnson 's government have proposed the measure that will allow businesses to receive grants up to 80 per cent of their employees' wages.

But on BBC Sportsound, presenter Richard Gordon claimed that clubs will not see this money if they remain in contact with their players or give them a home training regime to follow.
