Kate Garraway and her husband Derek Draper were due to celebrate their second wedding in August 2020, but sadly it didn't happen due to Derek battling Covid-19.
The reminder of their plans for a second wedding come as Good Morning Britain host Kate, 56, has confirmed Derek has died aged 56 after a devastating three year battle with Covid-19.
He leaves behind his wife and their two children, daughter Darcey, 17, and son William, 14.The dedicated couple were months away from celebrating a second wedding together as Derek had popped the question for a second time, after being emotionally reunited with Kate following her stint on I’m a Celebrity in 2019.
Good Morning Britain star Kate revealed that she was planning a second wedding with Derek after he proposed for a second time in November 2019 and was being helped by daughter Darcey to plan the ceremony.The presenter told Prima magazine at the time: "We’re going to have a second wedding and Darcey’s going to plan the whole thing.
