MPs have officially voted through Boris Johnson's Brexit deal in a lightning-speed House of Commons procedure. The EU (Future Relationship) Bill - which puts the 1,246-page trade pact into UK law - was backed by 521 votes to 73 despite a revolt by up to 37 Labour MPs.
Confirmed just 33 hours before the transition period ends tomorrow night, it means tariffs will not be slapped on our £668bn a year of trade with the continent.
But there are still many holes and areas still to be worked out. And Labour's Keir Starmer said he was only backing the deal to avoid the disaster of crashing out with no deal at all.
