This was the devastating scene of wreckage after a 16-year-old boy ploughed a stolen Mercedes into the front of a family home during a police chase in Salford.
The home was so badly damaged during the crash on December 18 last year the family had to move out as it was declared unsafe, police say.
The £50,000 car had been stolen from Cadishead earlier that day, before the teen, who cannot be named, lost control while being pursued by police. On Friday the youth, from Salford, was sentenced at Manchester magistrates' court for dangerous driving, aggravated vehicle taking, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.
