Hollyoaks star Lysette Anthony fights back tears as she reveals how she hid health battle from soap bosses

HOLLYOAKS star Lysette Anthony has opened up about how she kept her Parkinson’s a secret from show bosses. The 58-year-old, who was killed off the soap last year, was diagnosed at the same time she landed the role in 2016.

She asked her son Jimmy - now aged 17 - not to tell anyone because she feared she would lose her job playing Marnie Nightingale.
