He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

This Morning host Holly Willoughby missed a second day on the show in a row. The star, 39, first caused concern with her absence yesterday, as she had been scheduled to return with co-host Phillip Schofield following their Christmas break.

However, the former model was replaced by Rochelle Humes, with Phil explaining that his usual co-host was spending extra time with family, as reports the Mirror.

Fans were baffled again today as the mum-of-three was missing again, with one tweeting: "Where's Holly again?"Joking about her not appearing, Phil said: "Holly's not here, she's wrapping up her filming commitments with the Masked Singer - Badger, who'd have thought?"Later, he gave fans more of an insight as to what Holly was up to as he gave her.
