Holly Willoughby has been 'snubbed' for her This Morning co-star as the shortlist for the National Television Awards has been revealed.

It's not long now until the biggest names of the small screen battle it out for a range of prizes at the annual bash. The NTA's will take place on September 5 following the final round of voting which sees duo Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly up for the TV presenter award after winning the prize 21 times in a row.

However, it appears Holly has been replaced as viewers' This Morning favourite in favour of her co-star. The 42-year-old is currently enjoying spending quality time with her husband Dan Baldwin and their three children as she takes her annual summer break.

She has been away from the small screen for weeks now after heading off on her annual eight-week break last month.
