Alison Hammond has declared it a 'new term' as she prepared for her return to This Morning by showing off her underwear. The presenter took to Instagram over the weekend amid her comeback on the ITV daytime show on Monday (September 4).

While fans usually see Alison on a Friday with Dermot O'Leary, she is back earlier than expected as she co-hosts alongside Holly Willoughby who is returning the programme after a lengthy summer break having last been seen on the programme on July 6.

Her temporary break from This Morning, which happens every year, came at a challenging time for Holly as she co-hosted alongside a number of different members of the 'This Morning family' following Phillip Schofield's shock exit. But ahead of her return on Monday, Alison shared how she was getting prepared. Taking to her Instagram Story, the TV favourite posted a picture of her silky and lacey bras laid out on the bed. "New term, new bras," she typed alongside the post to her 1.4 million followers.
