Holly Willoughby is reportedly 'in talks' to work more with the BBC amid the Phillip Schofield scandal. The experienced presenter, 42, has worked on This Morning since 2009 but according to an insider she has "good relationship" with BBC bosses.
According to The Mirror, the broadcaster has already contacted her to see if she would be interested in making the switch. Holly worked with the BBC last year with Lee Mack when the pair hosted Freeze the Fear with Wim Hof.
Speaking to the publication, a source said: “Holly has had a good relationship and an open dialogue with BBC bosses since she hosted Freeze the Fear. “Ever since then they have been keen to sign her up for another project and have bent over backwards to offer her other opportunities. “So the ongoing drama at ITV has played into their hands. The bosses have had conversations this week about what they could offer her going forward." The source claims one executive reached out to her directly earlier in the week.
Despite being on holiday at the time, Holly is said to "really value" her relationship with the BBC. This all comes after her former This Morning co-star Phillip Schofield was axed from the show following revelations he had an affair with a much younger male ITV employee.
