‘Hocus Pocus 3’ Is In Development After Disney+ Sequel Success

deadline.comThe Sanderson sisters will be returning to cause more wicked chaos with Hocus Pocus 3, 30 years after the original movie was first released.
Disney+ is developing another sequel to the film starring Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker. Sean Bailey, President of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production, confirmed the news in an interview with The New York Times.
It’s no surprise that a sequel is being developed as was a hit for the streamer setting a record with 2.7 billion minutes of viewing.
Hocus Pocus was first released in 1993 and directed by Kenny Ortega from a screenplay by Mick Garris and Neil Cuthbert and a story by David Kirschner and Garris.
