Emmerdale actor Asan N'Jie has managed to land an exciting new role in a Disney movie, four years after he was axed from the ITV soap. The former Ellis Chapman star, whose role was taken over by Aaron Anthony in the months after the incident, abruptly left the Dales after he allegedly threatened to stab fellow actor Jamie Lomas, 48, during the TV Choice Awards in 2019.
Asan, 28, was caught on video in the hallways shouting and threatening rival soap star Jamie, who has previously been in Channel 4 rival Hollyoaks, as the pair got into a row.
But despite a dramatic exit from Emmerdale, Asan has kept work flowing in in the years since, including starring in Amazon Prime Video's Fortunes of War and BBC series Bloodlines.
Now the actor is set to catapult into the American spotlight as he has won a role alongside Hollywood heavyweight John Travolta in Disney's Christmas film The Shepherd, news which Asan has shared to his own Instagram account.
