An 130-year-old pub in Cheshire has reopened following a major refurbishment - and its exterior now features a giant mural of Sir Winston Churchill.
Swan and Chequers, in Sandbach, started out life as an old corn exchange and is now unrecognisable following the substantial investment.
After being shut for 12 months, it has reopened its doors and - alongside the new mural - its new look also features a Victorian London underground theme.
The mural of the former Prime Minister nods to the pub’s history and earlier links to the politician's speech on the balcony in 1945.
