Bale has been a peripheral figure since his stunning return from Real Madrid during the summer window. Arguably the most high-profile of any Premier League arrival, he has struggled to break into Mourinho's starting XI, playing just 248 minutes in the league.
The Spurs boss has handed him more opportunities in the Europa League and he grabbed his latest one with both hands. Starting in the round of 32 clash vs Wolfsberger AC, Bale looked closer to his old self, registering a goal and an assist in his 65 minute showing.
