A letter calling for the Government to adopt a herd immunity approach to the coronavirus was signed by fake names. Included on the list of 15,000 scientists and medical practitioners were Dr.
I.P. Freely, Dr. Person Fakename and Dr. Johnny Bananas, who listed himself as a "Dr of Hard Sums". The letter also counted homeopaths, therapists and fake names among its "medical" signatories.
The letter - known as the Great Barrington Declaration - was organised by prominent advocates of herd immunity and also attracted signatures from 160,000 members of the general public.
