This is the heartwarming moment a kind-hearted bus driver guided a group of duckings and their mother down to a nearby river.
Krzysztof Sieniuc, 39, spotted the group making the voyage in Musselburgh while on a break at work. The Polish dad, who has lived in the town since 2011, decided to help the mum and chicks to ensure they completed the journey safely.
In the video, shared with Edinburgh Live, the duck and her 10 babies can be seen scampering along the pavement while Krzysztof keeps a watchful eye.
Further pictures show the birds crossing the roads as they try to navigate their way back to the safe waters of the River Esk.Dad-of-one Krzysztof said: “I was walking home when I turned into my street and my brother in law pointed out that there was a duck family on the road.“I was on my break so I decided that the extra walk with the ducks to the river wouldn’t impact me much.“It took about 10 minutes all together.
