mirror.co.ukFans are wild with excitement at the return of the Vicar of Dibley to the small screen as part of BBC's Big Night In. Dawn French has reprised her role as her much loved character, the Reverend Geraldine Granger, in a revival of the hit show that ran for 13 years.
Her return, along with much of the cast, is part of tonight's Big Night In, which is a combination of Children In Need and Comic Relief and aims to raise cash for good causes around the country.
In a Twitter post, Dawn wrote: "I’m back in the dog collar, back in the vicarage, and back on your telly as part of The Big Night In.
Be there, or go to hell. Literally. I have some sway." Presented by comedy stalwart Lenny Henry, along with Matt Baker, Zoe Ball, Davina McCall and Paddy
