Health services in Perth and Kinross hit by need to focus on virus

Perth and Kinross health chief has said plans to remobilise health services have been “thwarted” after a rise in COVID cases.

Two recent outbreaks in both a Perthshire care home and factory have hindered plans to move into the next phase. The chief officer of Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) Gordon Paterson was providing an update to the Perth and Kinross Integration Joint Board (IJB) on September 23. 'Stick to the rules and we can stay open', say Perth pub owners Mr Paterson told the board: “At the last meeting I intimated we were being invited to look at how we could move from a response stage in relation to the global pandemic to a stage where we were keen to reinstate services.”He explained how they were.
