Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter.
He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.
Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction
A Stockport man who had been clear of his heroin addiction for years became addicted to opioids once again after being prescribed them by his GP.
Paul Michael Clark was tragically found dead at his home in May this year. Now a coroner has warned that further deaths could occur unless GPs are alerted to the dangers. "There was no evidence before the inquest that the inherent risks of reintroducing opioids to someone who had previously been addicted to them were considered or monitored," said South Manchester coroner Alison Mutch.
Ms Mutch has now issued a Prevention of Future Deaths report to the Royal College of General Practitioners and Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board.
The Coroners and Justice Act 2009 gives coroners the opportunity to make reports to a person, organisation, local authority or Government department or agency where they believe action should be taken to prevent future deaths.
