One Direction's Liam Payne was reportedly on the brink of stepping back from his solo music career when he tragically passed away earlier this month. The star sadly lost his life after a fall from the third floor of a Buenos Aires hotel on October 16, at the tender age of 31.

Reports suggest that a hotel employee alerted the police after noticing Liam behaving unusually prior to the tragic incident.

Documents from Companies House reveal that the 'Strip That Down' singer had initiated proceedings to resign as director of four companies on the day he died. These firms were instrumental in generating some of the income he earned from his recordings and live performances.

According to the Mail, his portfolio included Hampton Music Ltd, valued at £17,300 in 2023. Another, Hampton Records Ltd, was worth £300,000 in 2022, but this figure had dwindled to less than £75,000, as per the accounts.
