Harry Styles' girlfriend Olivia Wilde wins custody battle against ex Jason Sudeikis

Sudeikis, 46, had filed a lawsuit against Wilde in a New York court over their two children in October 2021, with him wanting to have the pair shared with the actress and director, 38, to live with him in Brooklyn. READ MORE: Harry Styles dismisses Olivia Wilde romance rumours as he opens up on nude scenes Wilde, however, wanted them to stay with her in Los Angeles, and possibly relocate to London, where her pop star boyfriend Harry Styles, 28, is based.On Wednesday (August 10) a New York judge dismissed the case.Sudeikis, the Hollywood actor and comedian, and House star Wilde began dating in 2011 and had son Otis, eight, and daughter Daisy, five, before parting in late 2020.The judge, in a legal decision signed on August 5, reportedly ruled that: "New York was not the home state of the subject children," and that their home state was California.The filing, examined by Page Six, said: "Therefore, for the reasons stated on the record on July 15, 2022, respondent’s motion to dismiss the custody petitions filed on October 21, 2021, is granted."The custody battle will now reportedly have to be tried in California.
Holly Davis, a family lawyer, reportedly said: "It is highly unlikely that Olivia can move to the UK due to the principle that family courts hold to, which is to keep parents together generally near their children while they are divorcing."It is possible that at the end of a hearing and after evidence and argument are made, one parent could move.
