Reports in Greece have claimed that the brawl which led to the arrest of Manchester United defender Harry Maguire started when his sister was stabbed in the arm.
The 27-year-old appeared in court in Syros on Saturday following the incident on Thursday after it was alleged he and two others had an altercation with police officers on the island of Mykonos.
It is believed Maguire was taunted by rival football supporters, which culminated in his sister Daisy being stabbed in the arm with a "sharp object." Things are then said to have escalated, with a mass brawl erupting, and when police arrived to break things up Maguire was reportedly "verbally abusive to an office and then hit him."
