Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children Archie and Lilibet reportedly recorded a special video message for their grandfather King Charles on his 75th birthday.
The Duke of Sussex, 39, is said to have enjoyed a lengthy phone call with his father, the King, on his landmark birthday on Tuesday. The conversation was described as being a ‘turning point’ in their relationship, which has become increasingly strained since Harry and Meghan stepped back from senior royal duties in 2020.
The Sussexes’ children - Prince Archie, four, and two year old Princess Lilibet - were also said to have starred in a video message, which was shared with the King, in which they sang happy birthday to him.
Sources said he was “delighted” by the gesture - especially as he has only met the two children on a handful of occasions. An insider told the Telegraph that Harry’s call was a "nice surprise" for the monarch, who had not heard from Harry by phone or message "for some time".
