According to an insider close to the Sussexes, Harry, 38, had a "casual conversation" with King Charles shortly after the Queen's death - but there were no formal discussions or agreement on the use of titles for his children.
Archie, three, and Lilibet, one, are entitled to be known as Prince and Princess because they are the children of a son of a sovereign - as per rules laid out by King George V in 1917.
But after Harry and Meghan, 41, decided to step back from senior royal duties in 2020, discussions were ongoing with the Palace over the use and style of their family's titles.
