The Prince and Princess of Wales want to ensure their youngest child is not made to feel like a ‘spare’ at King Charles upcoming Coronation on 6 May, commentator Angela Mollard added.
Prince Harry’s explosive memoir, released in January, was titled Spare in an apparent reference to the saying ‘an heir and a spare’.
The book brought a new round of attacks on the Royal Family - with criticism directed towards William and Kate - as well as the King and Queen Consort Camilla.
