In the movie, Lindsay Lohan‘s character Cady Heron crushes on her classmate Aaron Samuels, played by Jonathan Bennett.
She notes in a scene, “On October 3rd, he asked me what day it was.” Mean Girls helped launch Lindsay to super-stardom following her beloved roles in The Parent Trap and Freaky Friday.
The film’s red carpet premiere was held at the Cinerama Dome Theater in Hollywood on April 19, 2004. In attendance were Lindsay, Jonathan, Tina Fey, Rachel McAdams, Lizzy Caplan, Lacey Chabert, Amy Poehler, Tim Meadows, Kevin Nealon, and producer Lorne Michaels.
