iOS - Android Hamilton Sheriff Court heard how the 30-year-old admitted assault and robbery in Burnbank Gardens on March 3.He also admitted making vile comments and threats to police officers after his arrest.Mairi-Clare McMillan, prosecuting, said the victim was drinking alone in his home around 10pm when he heard what he believed to be a neighbour's voice outside.She told the court: "He opened the door and was dragged backwards by the neck of his t-shirt into the living room."He recognised the accused who was behaving aggressively but was also distressed and crying."Words were exchanged and the victim was struck on the head."The accused said 'I'm f****** having this', referring to a black gas mask that was on display in the living.
