Manchester City supporters were ecstatic to see Kevin De Bruyne named on the bench in the 2-0 win over Sheffield United. De Bruyne received a raucous reception when he jogged along the touchline - his first sighting since suffering a hamstring injury on the opening day.
There was, however, no sign of Erling Haaland, the other superstar City need back to supercharge their title hopes. The 23-year-old has not been seen since the 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa at the beginning of the month.
