Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has been named The Best FIFA Men's Coach 2023. Guardiola entered the competition as the overwhelming favourite to win the award after a sublime year.
At the helm since 2016, the Catalonian enjoyed his best season to date at the Etihad Stadium during 2022/23. Incredibly, City managed to win the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup as the Blues lifted a historic Treble which has only been matched in England by Manchester United.
The qualifying period ranged from December 19, 2022 and August 20, 2023 meaning a fourth trophy made it into Guardiola's impressive resume as City beat Sevilla on penalties to win the UEFA Super Cup. Guardiola received 28 points to come out on top in the scoring which was ten more than ex-Napoli boss Luciano Spalletti and 17 more than Inter manager Simeone Inzaghi.
