A yellow weather warning is in place across Greater Manchester this morning as forecasters warn of foggy weather. People have been told to expect 'some travel disruption' and poor visibility during the 11-hour warning, which is in place until 11am on Wednesday (January 22).
It comes as the UK braces for a 'winter weather bomb' as deep pressure moves in from the Atlantic, bringing with it strong gales and heavy rain from Thursday.

Forecasters say it will be cloudy to start, with scattered showers slipping away to the southeast. It will then turn brighter with occasional sunny spells, though the odd spot of rain may still be felt in the west, the Met Office say.
