Greater Manchester is expected to have another wet day with a Met Office weather warning still in force. Much of the region is covered by a yellow weather warning for rain, which runs until 6pm today (September 20).
The weather warning came into effect at 6am yesterday. It covers Manchester, Salford, Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale and Tameside - plus some parts of Wigan, Stockport and Trafford boroughs.
The Met Office says these areas can expect heavy rain, with the possibility of some flooding causing disruption. The warning also covers parts of Lancashire, Cumbria and West Yorkshire.
