'Unseasonably warm' weather is set to hit Greater Manchester as temperatures are expected to exceed 20C this weekend. Sunny spells are in store for the region with little chance of rain - although it will be cloudy in parts, according to the Met Office.
Top temperatures of 21C are forecast in Manchester, and as the wind eases off, it will feel warmer. Throughout the weekend, the chance of rain is remains low at less than 5 pc.
Across the North West, the weather is expected to stay mostly dry with warm sunny spells. However, while we will see a period of warm settled weather, a weather front over Scotland will bring heavy and persistent rain with an amber warning for rain in place.
